News Cast Announced for Chicago Premiere of Ruhl's The Clean House Casting has been revealed for the Goodman Theatre production of Sarah Ruhl's acclaimed new play, The Clean House, which will run April 29–June 4 in the Albert Theatre.

Jessica Thebus will direct a cast featuring Mary Beth Fisher, Patrick Clear, Guenia Lemos, Christine Estabrook and Marilyn Dodds Frank. The Clean House is quickly becoming one of the most produced plays in the U.S. Since its premiere at Yale Rep in New Haven in 2004, it's been seen at The Wilma Theater in Philadelphia, and is also scheduled for the coming season at Milwaukee Rep, and will be produced at Lincoln Center Theater in New York.

Ruhl's work, about a well-ordered household that is turned upside-down when an interesting new maid arrives, was a 2005 Pulitzer Prize finalist.

The design team for The Clean House in Chicago includes Todd Rosenthal (set design); Linda Roethke (costume design); James F. Ingalls (lighting design) and Andre Pluess and Ben Sussman (sound design).
