Casting is complete for the world premiere of the new musical In Dreams, which will play the Leeds Playhouse beginning July 3.

Directed by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet, What’s New Pussycat?), the cast will be led by the previously announced Tony winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Little Shop of Horrors) as Kenna and Oliver Tompsett (Wicked, & Juliet) as Ramsey.

They will be joined by Nöel Sullivan (Rock of Ages, Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as Donovan, Leon Craig as Tom, Alma Cuervo as Ana Sofia, Gabriela García as Nicole, Manuel Pacific as Oscar, Sian Reese-Williams as Jane, and Richard Trinder as George, plus ensemble members and understudies Mark Peachey as Officer Lee, Fabiola Ocasio, Hannah Ducharme as Bianca, and Pablo Gómez Jones.

Music director Patrick Hurley will be featured on keyboards with Steve Bramwell on guitar, David Keech on percussion, Rachel Steadman on violin and viola, and Gordon Davidson on electric bass and double beass.

With a book by Tony and Olivier nominee David West Read (& Juliet), In Dreams features iconic Roy Orbison songs, including "Crying," "I Drove All Night," "Pretty Woman," "You Got It," and "Handle Me With Care."

The story revolves around the former lead singer of a country rock band who, at a critical moment in her life, throws a party in a family-run Mexican restaurant to reconnect with old friends, while keeping her deeper motivations a secret.

The creative team also includes choreographer Fabian Aloise, set designer Arnulfo Maldonado, costume designer Fay Fullerton, music supervisor Catherine Jayes, lighting designer Howard Hudson, sound designer Tom Marshall, video designer George Reeve, casting directors Annelie Powell and Stephen Kopel, voice and dialect coach Salvatore Sorce, and intimacy director Asha Jennings-Grant.

Performances will continue through August 5. Deadline previously reported that the Broadway-aimed musical will also play a run at Toronto's CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre in Canada.
