News Cast Members From Broadway's Spider-Man Will Perform at John F. Kennedy International Airport Cast members from Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark will perform at Terminal 8 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, as part of American Airlines' JFK concert series, Aug. 23 and Sept. 7 at 2:30 PM and 3:15 PM.

American Airlines, which has been named the official airline of Broadway's Spider-Man, presents the performances as part of the production's media and marketing campaign; the airline has an on-site presence and hospitality benefits at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre, where the show is currently playing. Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark features music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip Wm. McKinley and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Inspired by over 40 years of Marvel comic books, Spider-Man, according to press notes, "follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he's bitten by a genetically altered spider and wakes up the next morning clinging to his bedroom ceiling. This bullied science-geek suddenly endowed with incredible powers soon learns, however, that with great power comes great responsibility as villains put both his physical strength and strength of character to the test."
