News Cast of "Les Miserables" Film Will Perform on the Academy Awards Cast members from the Oscar-nominated film "Les Miserables" — based on the international hit stage musical — will perform on the 85th Academy Awards, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

Which song (or songs) from the musical will be performed has not yet been decided, but TV watchers can expect to see "Les Miserables" stars Hugh Jackman, Samantha Barks, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried and more. The Daily Mail speculates the film's cast may offer a medley of songs or a group performance of either "One Day More" or "Do You Hear The People Sing?"

"Les Misérables," the starry film adaptation of the award-winning musical of the same name, earned eight nominations, including Best Picture. Hugh Jackman (Best Actor in a Leading Role) and Anne Hathaway (Best Actress in a Supporting Role) were nominated for their performances as Valjean and Fantine, respectively, and Tony-winning songwriters Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil were nominated for the new song written for the film, "Suddenly."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2012 will be presented Feb. 24 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. ABC will broadcast the event live.
