News Cast Recording for Matilda the Musical On Sale; Four Actresses to Share Title Role Announced The original cast recording for Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical, recorded in a studio by the original cast from last year's debut run of the show at Stratford-upon-Avon's Courtyard Theatre, has been released and is available from the RSC's Online Shop or the show's website.

The names of the four young actresses who will share the role of Matilda when it begins performances at the West End's Cambridge Theatre Oct. 18, prior to an official opening Nov. 22, have also been announced. They are Eleanor Worthington Cox, Cleo Demetriou, Kerry Ingram and Sophia Kiely.

Cox, who is ten years old and was born in Merseyside, trained at Formby School of Dance and Performing Arts from a very young age. She has performed as part of the chorus in Bill Kenwright's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Liverpool Empire, and will make her professional West End debut with the RSC in Matilda The Musical.

Demetriou, who is 11 years old and was born in Cyprus but now lives in London, has been performing in the West End since the age of seven. She made her professional debut playing Gretl in The Sound of Music at the London Palladium and has recently performed alongside Alfie Boe and Matt Lucas in Les Miserables.

Ingram, who is 12 years old, made her RSC season debut playing the role of Matilda in the original cast in Stratford. She trained at Corona Youth Theatre and has appeared in numerous productions including Oliver! (Theatre Royal Drury Lane) and Beauty and the Beast (Theatre Royal Windsor).

Keily, who is 11 years old, was born in London and attends the Royal Academy of Dance. She is making her professional debut in Matilda the Musical. To book tickets, contact the box office on 0844 800 1110, or visit www.matildathemusical.com.
