The new Warner Bros. Records album includes 12 original songs by Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, in addition to three songs from the film.
Three-time Grammy Award winner Rob Cavallo produced the album along with Lloyd Webber. Alex Brightman stars as unlikely music teacher Dewey Finn alongside Sierra Boggess as school principal Rosalie Mullins.
The production also features choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, scenic and costume design by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Mick Potter and music supervision by Ethan Popp.

School of Rock—The Musical, which will arrive on Broadway this fall, is currently enjoying a brief residency at the Gramercy Theatre in New York, to polish its script and score before the high-tech aspects of the show are added. The cast offered a sneak peek for the media the morning of June 11.
