News Casting Announced for Adler & Gibb at London's Royal Court Theatre Casting has been announced for the premiere of Tim Crouch's Adler & Gibb, which will begin performances June 13 at London's Royal Court Theatre prior to an official opening June 19, for a run through July 5.

Crouch will co-direct his own play with Karl James and Andy Smith; the cast will include Amelda Brown, Brian Ferguson, Denise Gough and Rachel Redford.

The play revolves around Janet Adler and Margaret Gibb, conceptual artists working in New York at the end of the last century. They were described by art critic Dave Hickey as the "most ferociously uncompromising voice of their generation." With Adler’s death in 2004, however, the compromise began. According to press materials, the play tells the story of a raid – on a house, a life, a reality and a legacy.

Crouch's The Author was seen at the Royal Court and toured across the U.K. and abroad throughout 2010 and 2011.

The production is designed by Lizzie Clachan, with lighting by Natasha Chivers and music and sound design by Ben and Max Ringham. Co-commissioned with Center Theatre Group, Los Angeles, it was developed, in part, at the 2013 Sundance Institute Theatre Lab at MASS MoCA.
