News Casting Announced for Arena Stage’s Carousel, Little Foxes and Moby Dick Single tickets for the 2016-17 season are now on sale.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has announced additional casting for its forthcoming productions of The Little Foxes, Carousel and Moby Dick.

Edward Gero (The Originalist) and Jack Willis (All the Way) will return to Washington, DC's Arena Stage for Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes in the roles of Benjamin Hubbard and Horace Giddens, respectively. The production, which will star the previously reported Emmy Award winner Marg Helgenberger as Regina Giddens, runs September 23-October 30 under the direction of Kyle Donnelly.

Broadway singing actress Kate Rockwell (Rock of Ages, Bring It On: The Musical, Hair, Legally Blonde) will make her Arena Stage debut as Carrie Pipperidge in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, which will be presented October 28-December 24 under the direction of Molly Smith. The cast will also include Ann Arvia as Nettie Fowler as well as the previously announced Nicholas Rodriguez as Billy Bigelow and E. Faye Butler as Mrs. Mullin.

Obie Award winner Christopher Donahue (Broadway’s Metamorphoses) and Jamie Abelson (Lookingglass’ Peter Pan) will reprise their roles in Lookingglass Theatre Company’s Moby Dick, as Ahab and Ishmael, respectively. Adapted and directed by David Catlin, Moby Dick is a co-production with the Alliance Theatre and South Coast Repertory and runs November 18-December 24.

The fall season will also include Tony nominee Kathleen Turner in Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking, which will be directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch. Performances are scheduled for October 7-November 20.
