News Casting Announced for Cy Coleman's I Love My Wife at Helen Hayes Complete casting has been announced for the Helen Hayes Theatre Company's upcoming production of Cy Coleman and Michael Stewart's I Love My Wife.

Directed by Rob Urbinati, the musical set in Trenton, NJ, in the seventies will play the Nyack theatre April 10-25. The cast will feature Bridget Crawford as Cleo, Erin Maguire as Monica, Duke Lafoon as Wally, Fletcher Clayton as Stanley, Chris McBurney as Quentin, Anthony Rand as Harvey, Ben Morss as Norman and Andrew Cassese as Alvin. I Love My Wife explores the relationship between two longtime friends and their wives. The remainder of the creative team comprises Joseph Egan (set design), Scott Clyve (lighting design), Sharon Sobel (costume design), Mike Gonzalez (sound design), Ben Morss (musical direction), Becky Garrett (production stage manager) and Gary John La Rosa (choreography).

I Love My Wife opened at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in April 1977, playing 857 performances before closing May 20, 1979. Directed by Gene Saks with musical staging by Onna White, the original cast featured Lenny Baker, Ken Bichel, James Brennan, Joanna Gleason (in her Broadway debut), Ilene Graff, Michael Mark, John Miller, James Naughton and Joseph Saulter. Actor Baker and director Saks won Tony Awards for their work; the musical was also nominated for a Best Musical Tony.
