News Casting Announced for Just in Time: The Judy Holliday Story Casting has been announced for Just in Time: The Judy Holliday Story, a look at the beloved comic actress and singer of stage and screen that will perform at The Soho Theatre Aug. 15-28 as part of the 2010 New York International Fringe Festival.

Bob Sloan will direct the play, which he also wrote. Marina Squerciati (The 39 Steps tour, Broadway's To Be Or Not to Be) will star as Holliday opposite a cast including Mary Gutzi, Adam Harrington and Catherine LeFrere. Press notes describe the play as "a fast-paced romp through the life of the Original Dumb Blond and one of one of the funniest actresses of all time. The play features Holliday's exalted cohorts such as Orson Welles, Betty Comden & Adolph Green, Katherine Hepburn, Nicholas Ray, Gloria Swanson and Jimmy Durante and songs she made famous like 'Loving You,' written by Holliday with jazz legend Gerry Mulligan, and of course 'Just in Time.' With numerous quick changes and snappy patter, the play takes us back-stage and on-set in this buoyant valentine to a bygone era of Hollywood and Broadway."
