News   Casting Announced for New Off-Broadway Musical Hell's Belles
Casting has been announced for Hell's Belles, a new musical presented by Tweiss Productions and Nicholas James Opalenik/Event Horizon Productions, which will play the Elektra Theatre at the Times Square Arts Center Oct. 3-Dec. 27.

Hell's Belles features a book and lyrics by Bryan D. Leys and music by Steve Liebman. It is directed by John Znidarsic with music direction by Mary Feinsinger and musical staging by Eugenio Contenti.

The show, according to press notes, is described as such: "A fallen pop star lands in Hell and joins some of history’s most notorious ladies in a new musical comedy. See Salome shimmy, Lady Godiva let her hair down, Janis Joplin belt some wicked blues, and an epic showdown between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. These are some of the hell-raising belles in the fast-paced, razor-sharp musical satire, Hell’s Belles."

The creative team also includes Josh Iacovelli (set and lighting design), Dustin Cross (costume design), Michael Cassara (casting), Dean A. Carpenter (general manager) and Erica Whelan (general management accountant).
