News Casting Announced for New U.K./Ireland Tour of West Side Story Full casting has been announced for the new U.K. and Ireland tour of West Side Story, beginning performances at Liverpool Empire Sept. 24 then continuing to Sunderland, Oxford, Dublin, Stoke-on-Trent, London's Wimbledon Theatre, Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, Aylesbury, Woking, Bromley, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Southampton, Nottingham, Milton Keynes and Aberdeen.

Leading the U.K. cast will be Katie Hall as Maria, Louis Maskell as Tony, Djalenga Scott as Anita and Jack Wilcox as Riff.

The rest of the company includes Bruce Aguilar-Rohan, Charlotte Baptie, Challyce Brogdon, Charlie Cameron, Danielle Cato, Javier Cid, Nicola Coates, Rachel Crocker, Matthew Croke, David Delve, Lisa Dent, Rachel Ensor, Fraser Fraser, Sergio Giacomelli, Matthew Hawksley, Dom Hodson, Liam Paul Jennings, Devon McKenzie Smith, Alex Pinder, Scott Rayner, Sam Salter, Katie Singh, Sergi Terns, Fenia Tsikitikou,  Sion Tudor Owen and Niko Wirachman.

Currently running at Sadler's Wells Theatre through Sept. 22, it is produced by BB Promotion in collaboration with Sundance Productions Inc., NY and Howard Panter for Ambassador Theatre Group.

The production is directed and choreographed by Joey McKneely using the Jerome Robbins choreography. McKneely is a former assistant to Robbins. His Broadway credits include Smokey Joe's Cafe and The Boy from Oz, as well as Hal Prince's Washington, DC production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Whistle Down the Wind and Nicholas Hytner's production of Twelfth Night for Lincoln Center Theater.
