News Casting Announced for Off-Broadway's An Error of the Moon Casting has been announced for Luigi Creatore's An Error of the Moon, which will begin a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row Aug. 13.

This "speculation of jealousy, madness and the brothers Booth" will officially open Aug. 30; performances will continue through Oct. 10.

Directed by Kim Weild, the cast will comprise Margaret Copeland, Erik Heger, Andrew Veenstra and Brian Wallace.

An Error of the Moon, according to press notes, is a "fictional portrait of the brothers Edwin and John Wilkes Booth, the rock star actors of their day. Edwin tells his tale of a man consumed by jealousy, of bitter sibling rivalry, and the mad obsession that sparked the assassination of Abraham Lincoln."

The production will feature scenic design by Steven Capone with costume design by Alixandra Englund, lighting design by Charles Foster and sound design by Christian Frederickson. Fight direction is by Rick Sordelet.

Producers are Theater 21 and CRC Productions.

Show times are Tuesdays at 7 PM, Wednesdays-Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
