News Casting Announced for Ragtime and Midsummer Night's Dream at London's Open Air Theatre This summer's Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park productions of Ragtime and A Midsummer Night's Dream will both feature companies of 26 actors, 20 of whom will appear in both shows. The productions play in repertory from May 18-Sept. 8.

The companies include Tamsin Carroll (recently seen as Nancy in Oliver! at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) as Titania in Dream and Emma Goldman in Ragtime; David Birrell (Company at Sheffield Crucible) as Theseus/Father; and Harry Hepple (the title role in the Menier Chocolate Factory production of Pippin) as Quince/Younger Brother.

Also in the company for A Midsummer Night's Dream are George Bukhari (seen last year at Regent's Park in Lord of the Flies) as Bottom, and Christopher Colquhoun, best known for his on-screen character Simon Kaminski in "Casualty," as Oberon; also in the company for Ragtime is Rosalie Craig (London Road) as Mother.

Ragtime begins performances May 18, prior to an official opening May 28. A Midsummer NIght's Dream begins performances June 2, prior to an official opening June 11.

The full company for Ragtime follows: Stephane Anelli (Harry Houdini), Rolan Bell (Coalhouse Walker, Jr.), David Birrell (Father), Katie Brayben (Evelyn Nesbit), Tamsin Carroll (Emma Goldman), Rosalie Craig (Mother), Harry Hepple (Younger Brother), Claudia Kariuki (Sarah), Joshua Lacey (Willie Conklin), John Marquez (Tateh), Carl Sanderson (Henry Ford) and Jo Servi (Grandfather). Jamal Andreas, Mireia Mambo Bekele, Louise Bowden, Anthony Clegg, Hayley Gallivan, Shimi Goodman, Waylon Jacobs, Kurt Kansley, Sandra Marvin, Sophia Nomvete, Corinna Powlesland, Caroline Rovina, Lucy St Louis and Tom Woods form the ensemble for the production.

For A Midsummer Night's Dream, casting comprises Rolan Bell (Snug), Kingsley Ben Adir (Demetrius), David Birrell (Theseus), Katie Brayben (Hippolyta), Louise Bowden (Philostrate), George Bukhari (Bottom), Tamsin Carroll (Titania), Anthony Clegg (Egeus), Christopher Colquhoun (Oberon), Hayley Gallivan (Hermia), Harry Hepple (Quince), Oliver Johnstone (Puck), Rebecca Oldfield (Helena) and Tom Padley (Lysander).  The ensemble for the production is made up of Jamal Andreas, Stephane Anelli, Mireia Mambo Bekele, Shimi Goodman, Waylon Jacobs, Kurt Kansley, Joshua Lacey, Sandra Marvin, Sophia Nomvete, Caroline Rovina, Carl Sanderson and Jo Servi.
