News Casting Announced for Seattle Premiere of Zanna, Don't! Zanna, Don't!, seen Off-Broadway in 2003, will make its Seattle premiere June 27.

Directed by Brandon Ivie, the musical will play Seattle Repertory Theatre's PONCHO Forum through July 6. Show times are Wednesdays-Mondays at 8 PM.

The cast features Casey Craig as Zanna, Bill Williams as Steve, Sarah Davis as Kate, Mackenzie Miller as Mike, Diana Huey as Roberta, Don Darryl Rivera as Tank, Lindsey Hedberg as Candi and Arthur Allen as Arvin.

Zanna, Don't!, according to press notes, is "a hip musical fairy tale about a matchmaking teen who turns relationships upside down, challenges our point of view, and changes the world forever. In a world where it's normal to be gay and taboo to be straight, Kate and Steve fall in love and it's up to Zanna, the local love fairy, to search for the right spell to make the world safe for the two lovers. But Zanna's spell has a bigger impact than he planned. Is this new world really what he wanted? With a little magic and a fresh pop score, Zanna celebrates the discovery of love in a world of adversity."

The creative team also includes music director Mark Rabe, set designer Andrea Bush, costume designer Harmony Arnold and lighting designer Robert J. Aguilar. E. Sara Barnes is stage manager.

Zanna features book, music and lyrics by Tim Acito. The Seattle Repertory Theatre PONCHO Forum is located at 155 Mercer Street on the Seattle Center Campus. Tickets, priced $20, are available by visiting www.brownpapertickets.com.
