Joining the previously announced Tom Hollander and Lisa Dillion is a cast that also includes Jonathan Cake and Fiona Glascott.

Described in press materials as a comedy of errors set against a backdrop of misunderstanding and confusion, the cast will also feature Di Botcher, Oliver Cotton, Freddie Fox, Lloyd Hutchinson, John Marquez, Tim McMullan, William Maxwell, Rebecca Night, Maggie Service and Walter Van Dyk.

The plot concerns Raymonde Chandebise (Dillon) who suspects her husband Victor (Hollander) of having an affair. So she enlists her best friend Lucienne (Glascott) to set a trap to catch him out. Their plan misfires when the anonymous letter they send him suggesting a rendezvous at the Hotel Coq d’Or leads to a sequence of mistaken identities and bruised egos. John Mortimer's translation of A Flea in Her Ear was originally performed by the National Theatre at The Old Vic in 1966, starring Albert Finney. A subsequent production starring Jim Broadbent was also staged at The Old Vic in 1989.

Hollander's theatre credits include Landscape with Weapon at the National Theatre, King Lear at the Almeida, Michael Grandage's production of Don Juan at Sheffield Crucible and The Judas Kiss (Almeida and Broadway). Film credits include "In the Loop," for which he was nominated for a BIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2009 and "The Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3." He has recently finished filming for Joe Wright's thriller "Hanna" starring Eric Bana. Earlier this year, Tom also co-created and starred in the hit BBC series "Rev."

Dillon is currently appearing in the Old Vic's production of Design for Living. She is best known for playing Mary Smith in the BBC series "Cranford." Other leading roles include the recent West End production of Private Lives, When the Rain Stops Falling (Almeida) and Under the Blue Sky (Old Vic). She received the Ian Charleson Award for Outstanding Newcomer in 2004. Cake has appeared with the RSC in Wallenstein, Tamburlaine, The Odyssey, As You like It and Beggar’s Opera. He has also appeared on Broadway in David Grindley’s production of The Philanthropist and Off-Broadway in Parlour Song.

Glascott's theatre credits include The Country Wife (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Whipping It Up (Bush) and Hitchcock Blonde (Royal Court and West End). Film and TV credits include "The Duel," "Omagh," "Spooks," "Ballykissangel" and "Foyles War."
