News Casting Complete for Crazy for You at Geffen Hall Mark Linn-Baker and Nancy Opel have joined the cast of the one-night-only event.

Casting is now complete for Manhattan Concert Productions’ one-night-only concert presentation of the Tony Award-winning musical Crazy for You, which will be presented February 19 at 8 PM at David Geffen Hall.

Tony Yazbeck (Gypsy, On the Town) will star as Bobby Child opposite two-time Tony nominee Laura Osnes (Bandstand, Cinderella) as Polly Baker. Also featured will be Harry Groener as Bella Zangler. Groener earned a Tony Award nomination for creating the role of Bobby Child in the original Broadway production.

Golden Globe Award-winning Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star and creator Rachel Bloom will play Irene Roth opposite television star Jerry O’Connell (Veronica Mars, Scream Queens) as Lank Hawkins. The cast also boasts SNL alum Rachel Dratch and 30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer as Patricia and Eugene Fodor, respectively.

Completing the company are Mark Linn-Baker as Everett Baker, Nancy Opel as Lottie Child, Michael Biren, Jim Borstelmann, Christine Cornish-Smith, Jeremy Davis, Jerry Gallagher, Anne Horak, Rashaan James II, Naomi Kakuk, Amanda Kloots, Chris LeBeau, Alicia Lundgren, Brittany Marcin Maschmeyer, Kaylee Olson, Eric Santagata, Angie Schworer, and Victor Wisehart.

With music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, and a book by Ken Ludwig, Crazy for You is based on the Gershwins’ 1930 musical Girl Crazy.

The one-night-only event will be directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, who won the 1992 Tony Award for Best Choreography on the original production of Crazy for You.

The concert presentation will feature Stroman’s iconic original choreography. Kevin Stites will music direct.

Crazy for You will feature a chorus of 240 singers from across the United States and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
