Off-Broadway News Casting Revealed for INTAR Production of José Rivera's The Hours are Feminine

The autobiographical play explores the price of assimilation through a Puerto Rican family of three following Hurricane Donna's devastation in 1960.

Full casting has been revealed for the International Arts Relations (INTAR) Theatre production of José Rivera's The Hours are Feminine. The world premiere play will begin performances May 11 for a run scheduled through June 9. An official opening night is set for May 20.

Written and directed by Rivera, the autobiographical play explores female friendship and the price of assimilation through the lens of a Puerto Rican family of three following Hurricane Donna's devastation in 1960.

The cast will include Maribel Martínez as Evalisse, Hiram Delgado as Fernán, Donovan Monzon Sanders as Jaivín, Sara Koviak as Mirella, Robert Montano as Little Anthony, and Dan Grimaldi as Charlie.

The production will feature set design by Izzy Fields, costume design by Lisa Renee Jordan, lighting design by Christina Watanabe, and sound design by David Remedios. Fight and intimacy direction is by UnkleDave’s Fight House. Casting is by Gama Valle of Bass/Valle Casting.
