News   Casts of Aladdin, Gent's Guide and Les Mis Will Inspire at Broadway Student Summit
The Broadway Student Summit will bring theatre students from across the country together with cast and creative team members from Broadway's top shows – including Aladdin, A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder and Les Miserables – beginning Jan. 17, 2015.

The Summit is one of many programs offered by the Broadway Teaching Group and is a tributary of the popular Broadway Teachers Workshop.

According to press notes, "Gordon Greenberg and Pam Pariseau, co-artistic directors of the program, wanted to offer a chance for serious-minded theatre students to have the opportunity to interact with the Broadway community. This program gives kids the chance to meet and work with cast and creative team well as participate in 8 different workshops and master classes. Workshops include: Acting, Voice, Dance, Audition Technique, Comedy Improv, Stage Combat and more."

In addition to working with guest teachers from the award-winning casts, students will have the opportunity to work privately on their audition materials with a prominent Broadway casting director; past guest casting directors have included representatives from Telsey & Company, Tara Rubin Casting and Duncan Stewart and Company.

Participants in the Summit will also have a ticket to see one of the three aforementioned casts perform their show on Broadway.

A full list of specific teaching artists for each session are yet to be announced. Past guest teachers have included Tony nominees Laura Osnes (Cinderella) and Santino Fontana (Cinderella), Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler (In The Heights, Bring It On) and Lindsay Mendez (Wicked) among many others.
