News Catch Me If You Can Cast Album Released in Stores June 28; Manhattan Appearances Scheduled The original Broadway cast album of the Tony Award-nominated musical Catch Me If You Can arrives in stores June 28. The cast and creative team celebrate with an in-store performance at the Upper East Side Barnes and Noble and a chat at the 92Y Tribeca.

Ghostlight Records releases the 17-track album of the musical from the Tony-winning songwriting team behind Hairspray, which was recorded April 4 and 18. Marc Shaiman (music/co-lyricist) and Scott Wittman (co-lyricist) authored the score.

Shaiman and Wittman are set to join Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz, Aaron Tveit and Kerry Butler for a performance and discussion with New York Drama Critics Circle president Adam Feldman at the 92Y Tribeca at noon.

Shaiman, Wittman, Butz, Tveit and Butler will then head uptown to take part in the 4 PM event at the Upper East Side Barnes and Noble, which will also feature performances. Also in attendance will be cast members Linda Hart, Rachel de Benedet and Nick Wyman, who will sign copies of the Ghostlight Records original cast album of the Tony-nominated musical.

Based on the DreamWorks film of the same name (and the autobiography by Frank Abagnale Jr. and Stan Redding), Catch Me If You Can has a book by Tony winner Terrence McNally and opened April 10 at the Neil Simon Theatre.

The principal cast includes Tveit (Next to Normal, Wicked) as Frank Abagnale, Jr., Tony Award winner Butz (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Is He Dead?) as FBI Fraud Agent Carl Hanratty, Tom Wopat (Sondheim on Sondheim, Annie Get Your Gun) as Frank Sr., Butler (Xanadu, Hairspray) as Brenda, De Benedet (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) as Paula Abagnale, Hart (Hairspray) as Carol Strong and Wyman (Tale of Two Cities) as Roger Strong.
