News Catch Me If You Can Musical Has Reading The new Terrence McNally-Scott Wittman-Marc Shaiman musical Catch Me If You Can had a reading on Sept. 25, with current Dirty Rotten Scoundrels actress Sara Gettelfinger in the cast.

"It's in the very early stages, and we're just doing readings at this point," she told Playbill.com. "Also, the captain of that ship is Jack O'Brien. Anyplace he would ask me to come play in the sandbox, I will be there... It's pretty wonderful material that we're all excited to see what we can do with it."

The film "Catch Me If You Can," the true story of a compulsive young con man and the federal agent who pursues him, starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, as well as Christopher Walken as the father of the DiCaprio character. The picture takes place in the 1960s, a period the writers feel comfortable in, having just worked on the 1962-set Hairspray.
