News Cavett, Byrne, Kane, Sheehan Will Speak and Sing Yeats in Fiddle and the Pen April 14 The Irish Repertory Theatre's current Off-Broadway staging of The Yeats Project, celebrating the complete plays of W.B. Yeats, will be supplemented by a special music-filled event called The Fiddle and the Pen at 8 PM on April 14. Gabriel Byrne and Dick Cavett are among participants.

Billed as "an informal night wherein musicians and writers share the stage, read their favorite poems and reveal the influence Yeats brought to their own works," the evening will include Ciaran Sheehan, Tony Award nominee Byrne (A Moon for the Misbegotten), Donna Kane, Bob Savage, Jon Naberezny, Donie Carroll, Tom Megan, Professor Ann Daniel, Professor James Pethica, Andy McGowan, and musicians Brian Conway and Tony DeMarco. Cavett hosts. The performance will be on the Irish Rep mainstage at 132 W. 22nd Street.
