News CBS Will Broadcast Tony Awards Ceremony Through 2013 CBS Television, which has been broadcasting the annual Tony Awards ceremony since 1978, will continue to do so until at least 2013.

The New York Times reports that CBS has extended its agreement with the American Theater Wing and the Broadway League, who co-present Broadway's highest honor, for three more years.

The 63rd Annual Tony Awards, which were hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, recently won two Emmy Awards: Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special and Outstanding Special Class Program.

The 64th Annual Tony Awards were broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall June 13. Sean Hayes hosted.

A venue for the 65th Annual Tony Awards, which will be held in June 2011, has yet to be announced.
