Betsy Wolfe, seen on Broadway earlier this season in the revival of William Finn's Falsettos, celebrates her birthday June 1. Wolfe will join the cast of the award-winning musical Waitress beginning June 13 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
Wolfe, whose Broadway credits also include Bullets Over Broadway, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Everyday Rapture, 110 in the Shade, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, will step into the lead role of expert pie-maker Jenna Hunterson, the part created by Tony winner Jessie Mueller and currently played by the show's composer, Sara Bareilles, who will play her final performance as Jenna June 11.
