Two-time Drama Desk nominee Julia Murney celebrates her birthday January 14.
Murney was last seen on Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked after playing the role in the national tour. Other New York credits include Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party (Drama Desk nomination), Falling (Drama Desk nomination), The Vagina Monologues, Lennon, A Class Act, Crimes of the Heart, and TimeandAgain (Lucille Lortel nomination). Last summer she took on the role of Madame Rose in Gypsy at the Cape Playhouse in Massachusetts.
