News Cerveris, Cox, O'Hare and Plimpton to Celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday April 26 Veanne Cox, Martha Plimpton, Michael Cerveris and Denis O'Hare are among the stage veterans who will take part in the Shakespeare Society's Shakespeare Birthday Marathon on April 26.

Presented in honor of the Bard's 445th birthday, the free five-hour marathon will be presented 3:30–8:30 PM at Peter Norton Symphony Space.

The event promises highlights from Theater for a New Audience's Othello and Hamlet, featuring Christian Camargo, Juliet Rylance, John Douglas Thompson and Kate Forbes; as well as Classic Stage Company's The Tempest, featuring Stephen Rattazzi, Tony Torn and Nyambi Nyambi; and the Pearl Theatre Company and the McCarter Theatre's recent productions of Twelfth Night, with Veanne Cox, Rebecca Brooksher, Stephen DeRosa and Sean McNall.

Special readings will be offered by Martha Plimpton, Michael Cerveris, Denis O'Hare, Jason Butler Harner, Michael Stuhlbarg and Elisabeth Waterston.

Also announced to participate are David Costabile, Michael Cumpsty, Barry Edelstein, Jason Butler Harner, Jeffrey Horowitz, Hamish Linklater, Roberta Maxwell, Laila Robins, Juliet Rylance and Elizabeth Shepherd, as well as Public Theater's Shakespeare Lab, the Hunts Point Children's Shakespeare Ensemble, Epic Theater Ensemble, NYU'S Graduate Acting Program and NYU's Gallatin School.
