News Cerveris Dons Drag Again on FOX-TV's "The American Embassy Michael Cerveris of Titanic and The Who's Tommy fame co stars in the new FOX-TV series "The American Embassy," which will make its series premiere 9 PM (ET) March 11. Cerveris, who was last onstage as the transsexual rock singer in Off-Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, will again don female garb as the cross-dressing next-door neighbor Gary Forbush.

Michael Cerveris of Titanic and The Who's Tommy fame co stars in the new FOX-TV series "The American Embassy," which will make its series premiere 9 PM (ET) March 11. Cerveris, who was last onstage as the transsexual rock singer in Off-Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, will again don female garb as the cross-dressing next-door neighbor Gary Forbush. The series features another stage veteran, Arija Bareikis (The Last Night of Ballyhoo), who stars as Emma Brody, a young American woman who accepts a job as a vice consul at the U.S. Embassy in London. During her stay in London, Emma becomes embroiled in a love triangle with a CIA agent (David Cubitt) and two British Lords. The series also features Jonathan Adams as Emma's boss, Helen Carey as the Deputy Chief, Davenia McFadden as Vice Consul and Reiko Aylesworth as Emma's roommate.

Shot on location in London, "The American Embassy" is produced by Jersey Television and 20th Century Fox Television and provides a contemporary look at a young American woman abroad in search of happiness on both the personal and professional fronts.
