News Champlin, Cohen, Doran and Yaukey Set for NYMF's Love Jerry Donna Lynne Champlin will star in Megan Gogerty's Love Jerry as part of the fifth annual New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Running Sept. 18-27 at the Barrow Group Theatre, Love Jerry centers on the relationship between two adult brothers and a family grappling with the long-term effects of child abuse. Gogerty has penned book, music and lyrics for the NYMF production that is directed by Hilary Adams.

Champlin, most recently seen in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, will be joined onstage by J.T. Arbogast, Jonas Cohen (Maccabeat!), Harris Doran (The Cousins Grimm), Annalyse McCoy and Katrina Yaukey (Sweeney Todd).

"Jerry is likeable and shy; his brother Mike is a macho family man. When Jerry is accused of sexually abusing his young nephew, the brothers must reconcile their love for each other with the grim circumstances that force them apart," according to Festival notes.

Love Jerry features musical direction by Marcus Baker, scenic design by Lara Fabian and costume design by Elizabeth Dellario.
