News Champlin, Grové and Gillett Set for Ludlow Ladd Benefit Three performances of Ludlow Ladd, described as a "wonderfully warped holiday musical," will be presented Dec. 10 and 11 to benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Sara Louise Lazarus will direct the staged concerts, which will be held at TADA! The company will feature recent Sweeney Todd star Donna Lynne Champlin as well as Jessica Grové, Barbara Rosenblat, Ben Rauch and Eric Michael Gillett. Show times are Dec. 10 at 4 and 7 PM and Dec. 11 at 7 PM. The creative team will also include Paul Staroba (music director) and Michele Reisch (costume design).

Ludlow Ladd, according to press notes, concerns "an orphan searching for a home on Christmas Eve." The musical by Michael Colby (libretto) and Gerald Jay Markoe (music) premiered Off-Broadway in 1982. The concerts mark the premiere of the expanded version of the musical.
