Classic Arts News Chanticleer to Appear on NBC's Today Show Chanticleer, the multiple Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble, will sing a holiday classic on morning television's most popular program, NBC's Today Show, on Monday, December 4, leading the 9:30 a.m. segment (check local listings).
The appearance, which follows the first two of six Chanticleer concerts at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, marks the second consecutive season that the group has been on the morning TV show.

The 12-male vocal ensemble is currently touring the United States, performing its annual holiday program from coast to coast. "A Chanticleer Christmas" is undoubtedly the group's most beloved program, a favorite with audiences and critics alike. Chanticleer's holiday tour began on the West Coast last week and has already featured stops in Maine and Chicago. Following additional performances in New York (December 5 and 6), Chanticleer heads back west for stops in several California locales, including Stanford University's Memorial Church (December 12-13), Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles (December 19), and throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Chanticleer's home base.

The New Yorker summed up the program: "No one does a better choral Christmas than the virtuoso male voices of Chanticleer."
