Reeve Carney, who is best-known for originating the role of Peter Parker/Spiderman in Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and playing Dorian Gray in the Showtime series Penny Dreadful, played a concert March 3 at The Green Room 42. Carney is scheduled to play a second concert at the venue on March 31.
Carney was joined by Tony nominee Eva Noblezada, who garnered a Tony nomination for her performance as Kim in the recent Broadway revival of Miss Saigon. The two are set to star opposite one another in Anaïs Mitchell's folk opera Hadestown, which begins Broadway previews March 22.
The Max Martin musical features a number of his most beloved songs, including “…Baby One More Time,” “Roar,” “Since U Been Gone,” “It’s My Life,” “I Want It That Way,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling!,” and more.
