MTV.com and People Magazine report that guest judges — filling in for Paula Abdul, who has reportedly departed the hit singing competition — currently include Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, recent Tony Awards host Neil Patrick Harris, Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain, Katy Perry and Joe Jonas. "American Idol" will return for its ninth season in January 2010. Ryan Seacrest hosts.
Winners of the first eight seasons comprise Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook and Kris Allen.
