Matthew Broderick (Night Must Fall), Kristen Chenoweth (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Bernadette Peters (Annie Get Your Gun), Cathy Rigby (Peter Pan), Valarie Pettiford (Fosse), Kevin Spacey (The Iceman Cometh) and Tom Wopat (Annie Get Your Gun) are among the stars expected to appear at the free annual Broadway event, "Stars in the Alley," to be held in Shubert Alley June 2. Musical performances will be offered from Broadway's newest additions including Fosse, Footloose, Peter Pan, The Civil War and Annie Get Your Gun as well as past shows like Cabaret, Chicago, Ragtime, Scarlet Pimpernel, Rent, Cats, Les Miserables, Smokey Joes' Cafe and Phantom of the Opera. Joining Spacey and Broderick in representing Broadway's plays will be hosts Scott Wolf and Edie Falco (Side Man) and the newest cast of Art (Buck Henry, Wayne Knight and George Segal).

Scheduled performances include:
Fosse's Valarie Pettiford, "Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries"
Charlie Brown's Kristen Chenoweth, "My Philosophy"
Civil War's Gene Miller and the confederate army, "Last Waltz for Dixie"
Peter Pan's Cathy Rigby, "I Won't Grow Up"
Footloose's cast, "Let's Hear It For the Boy"
The Scarlet Pimpernel's Rachel York, "Storybook"

At this year's "Stars in the Alley," New York City Council Speaker Peter Vallone will receive the 6th Annual Star Award, granted to the individual in government service who has supported the arts -- and Broadway theatre in particular.
