The Hollywood Reporter states that the stage and screen star has signed on to appear in Patrick Coyle's film about a suicidal prostitute who confesses to a priest her plan to take her life on her birthday.
Chenoweth stars as the prostitute with "Law & Order" regular Jeremy Sisto as the priest who attempts to save her. Coyle will direct his screenplay.
Ann Luster and Anne Marie Gillen produce the indie-film that is set to begin filming in Minneapolis next week.
Kristin Chenoweth can currently be seen as Olive Snook on the quirky ABC series "Pushing Daisies." She recently concluded filming "Four Christmases." Her film credits also include "Running with Scissors," "Deck the Halls," "Stranger Than Fiction" and "Bewitched." Chenoweth won a Tony Award for You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, and originated the role of Glinda in the musical Wicked.
