News Chenoweth Will Offer Valentine Benefit Concert for Westport Feb. 7, 2009 Tony Award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth will perform a Valentine's Day-inspired benefit concert for the Westport Country Playhouse.

The star of Wicked and "Pushing Daisies" will offer an evening of song on Feb. 7, 2009, at 8 PM for Westport audiences. The concert will be preceded by a 7 PM champagne reception. Kristin Chenoweth is a Tony Award winner for her performance as Sally in the Broadway production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown that featured additional music by Andrew Lippa. In addition to creating the role of Glinda in the Stephen Schwartz musical Wicked, Chenoweth has appeared in Steel Pier, A New Brain, Epic Proportions, The Apple Tree and the Encores! productions of Stairway to Paradise and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Her screen roles include "Four Christmases," "Running with Scissors," "Bewitched," "Stranger Than Fiction," "Annie," "The Music Man," "The West Wing," "Kristin" and "Pushing Daisies." Her latest solo album, "A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas," is currently in stores.
