CHICAGO -- Jean Cocteau and the Arthurian legend seem a less than likely match. But on April 15, as the second production in its season-long Cocteau retrospective, Eclipse Theatre revives Cocteau's rarely performed The Knights of the Round Table. The 1937 work, officially opening Apr. 18, depicts an Arthur who, preferring "true deaths to a false life," refuses to admit that his Camelot has lost its vision. Jay Paul Skelton directs the eclectic event, which runs through May 30. For information call 773-862-7415. -- By Lawrence Bommer
