News Chicago Ensemble to Perform "Jazz" at SafeSpace Benefit, March 13 On March 13, film actress Susan Sarandon is honorary chair of a benefit for SafeSpace, a New York-based program that assists "homeless and street youths." Entertainment for the benefit will include ensemble members of Broadway's Chicago performing that show's opening number, "All That Jazz" (with Donna Marie Asbury doing the Velma role). Actress Sarandon will not be able to attend the event.

Actress Sarandon will not be able to attend the event. Directing the show are Bill Torres, Fay Simpson and Tom Pearl.
