Rena Malin, who premiered her one-woman confessional show The Fall From Precious in Los Angeles five years ago, then took it to Chicago a year later for a successful run, has revived the production for an outing through Nov. 20 at Third Street Theatre. The director is Meredith Patt.
Malin is a Second City Training Center alumnus who has written and produced many plays, including Act Like a Lady and The Archers.
In her solo show, Malin discusses her fantasies and realities in frank, no-holds-barred fashion. The Chicago Reader called The Fall from Precious a "funny, intimate journey through socialization, sexual awakening and the first glimmerings of independence."
