Classic Arts News Chicago Symphony Announces 2005-06 Jazz Lineup The Chicago Symphony's Jazz at Symphony Center series will include performances by the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, pianist Marian McPartland, and guitarist Pat Metheny in 2005-06, the CSO announced.
Other highlights include a Billie and Me, a multimedia tribute to Billie Holiday that stars Dianne Reeves, Fontella Bass, and others.

Also on the schedule are guitarist Jim Hall, bassists Dave Holland and Christian McBride, drummer Matt Wilson's Arts & Crafts ensemble, the Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and Chicago Jazz Ensemble, led by Jon Faddis. An 80th birthday for impresario Joe Segal will feature saxophonist Yusef Lateef and drummer Albert "Tootie" Heath.
