CHICAGO -- On Feb. 25 the Bailiwick Repertory continues its venture into musicals with Inferno Beach, the latest premiere from the troupe that has produced such local hits as The Christmas Schooner, Pope Joan and In the Deep Heart's Core. Created by Marc Stopek and Jon Steinhagen, the Dante-inspired romp depicts the residents of the Hotel Paradiso, located unsettlingly on Inferno Beach.
Chicago favorite Alexandra Billings plays the role of the hotel manager.
While in workshop, the work won an After Dark Award for Outstanding New Work.
