CHICAGO -- Organic Touchstone Theatre has announced a very ambitious 1998-99 season: The repertory will open this fall with the American premiere of The Belfrey, by Irish playwright Billy Roche, and follows that feat with three Midwest premieres: Wendy Wasserstein's An America Daughter, David Ives' Mere Mortals, and John Henry Redwood's deeply moving The Old Settler. Zoe Sarnak and Rachel Bonds' new musical will begin performances Off-Broadway April 27.

The queer-themed short plays will be made available for free to non-profit theatres, schools, and community organizations to support fundraising for LGBTQIA+ groups.
The tour will launch at the New Wimbledon Theatre in June.
After years of camaraderie, the two friends are finally opposite each other in Broadway's longest-running musical.
The biomusical following the life of the artist and exiled aristocrat comes to Broadway from Williamstown Theatre Festival and La Jolla Playhouse.
The production previously enjoyed a Leicester run in 2021.
Directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, the production will play the Chichester Festival Theatre before arriving in the West End.
Original cast members Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce, Kristine Nielsen, and more will reunite for the one-night-only event.
