News Chicago's Wopat to Return to the Metropolitan Room Aug. 22-23 Tom Wopat, who is currently playing Billy Flynn in the Tony-winning revival of Kander and Ebb's Chicago, will return to the Metropolitan Room later this month.

Wopat will offer his acclaimed cabaret program Aug. 22 and 23 at the intimate nightspot. Show time is 10:30 PM.

Tom Wopat received Tony nominations for his performances in A Catered Affair and in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun (opposite Bernadette Peters). He has also appeared on Broadway in I Love My Wife, City of Angels, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, 42nd Street and Glengarry Glen Ross. Perhaps best known for his seven-season run on "The Dukes of Hazzard," Wopat has released several albums with CBS and Capitol Records. His latest disc is entitled "Dissertation on the State of Bliss."
