With the help of musical extraordinaire Benjamin Rauhala and cellist Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf, Mendez takes on Lloyd Webber's "You Must Love Me" (written for the film adaptation of Evita and then included in later stage productions) and Sondheim's "Children Will Listen" (from Into the Woods) at famed restaurant Sardi's.

The concert will feature deep cuts from the group's catalog, as well as brand new music.

The new musical features a book by Beth Malone and Mary Ann Stratton, with music by Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls.
The one-night-only event will feature seven short plays written by NYC students in 24 hours.
