News Chip Zien to Host Dec. 10 New Voices Concert Chip Zien, who was most recently on Broadway in the revival of Les Misérables, will host the Dec. 10 Monday Nights, New Voices concert at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The year-end concert will boast an array of New Voices alumni, including Anna Bergman, Lauren Blackman, Randy Blair, Mick Bleyer, Charl Brown, Melanie Burg, Matt Cavenaugh, Brian Crum, Mitch Dean, Lianne Dobbs, Nick Dothee, Morgan Paige Fluss, Carrie Johnson, Lauren Kennedy, Jeff Kready, Josh Lamon, Jessica Lanzetta, Matt Leisy, Tina Maddigan, Samantha Massell, Christy Morton, Patti Murin, Skie Ocasio, Chuck Ragsdale, Nicholas Rodriguez, Sara Schmidt, Emily Shoolin, Rena Strober, Katie Tomlinson, Nadia Wahhab and Amy Wren. Show time is 7 PM. A host of composers will also take part in the evening: David Kirshenbaum, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid, Tom Kitt, Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, Jeff Bowen, Steven Routman and Deborah Abramson. Barbara Anselmi will be the evening's musical director.

The New Voices series was founded by composer Scott Alan to "showcase some of today's brightest new talent in New York." Alan's debut recording, "Dreaming Wide Awake" — which features performances by Liz Callaway, Stephanie J. Block, Eden Espinosa, Cheyenne Jackson and Jonathan Groff, among others — is now available by visiting www.scottalan.net.
