News Chitty Chitty Flies In to West End, March 19, 2002 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the classic children's story, is to get a West End outing in March 2002.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the classic children's story, is to get a West End outing in March 2002. A stage musical version of children's classic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is to open at the London Palladium on April 16, 2002, following previews from March 19. Richard and Robert Sherman,who wrote the original music, will be addding new numbers for the Palladium show.

The production has been adapted for the stage by Jeremy Sams, with musical staging by Gillian Lynne, design by Anthony Ward and will be directed by Adrian Noble, the artistic director of the RSC.
