Christian Bach, star of the Mexican productions of Sweet Charity and Kiss of the Spider Woman, is planning her return to the stage in Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Bach, who was born in Argentina, is married to Mexican actor/director Humberto Zurita (who starred The Mexican versions of Deathtrap, PS: Your Cat is Dead and M. Butterfly). The couple own a major producing company, called Producciones Zurita-Bach, which has been involved in theatre, film and T.V. production.

Christian Bach and Humberto Zurita recently associated with TV Azteca, a major Mexican broadcasting company that is co-producing their newest soap-opera, La Chacala, which also stars Rafael Sanchez Navarro, who directed and produced the 1997 revival of Equus and currently plays Ivan in the highly successful Mexican production of Art.

According to Gerardo Zurita, Executive Producer at Producciones Zurita-Bach, Cat On a Hot Tin Roof is scheduled to open early 1998 and will be co-produced also by TV Azteca.
