PlayBlog Christie Brinkley Chats About Chicago at "The View" (Video) Supermodel Christie Brinkley made her Broadway debut April 8 as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre.


Brinkley sat down with the ladies of "The View" to talk about how she landed the role of the newest diva on Murderess Row, the rehearsal process and the encouragement given to her from her parents.

Bill Geddie also got the chance to talk to Broadway's newest leading lady backstage on "The View," where she showed him the difference between a jazz hand and Pippin—jazz hands with a bend at the elbow.

Brinkley is playing an 11-week engagement as Roxie Hart. She is joined onstage by Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Roz Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton.
