Grammy winner Christina Aguilera, who starred in and composed songs for the 2010 film Burlesque, will executive produce a stage adaptation of that film, according to EW.

Steven Antin, who directed the film, is writing the musical, set to include songs from the motion picture by Aguilera, Sia, and Diane Warren—with new tunes penned by Todrick Hall and Jess Foley.

Titled Burlesque: The Musical, the production will make its debut in the U.K. on a date to be announced.

Antin confirmed the news to EW via email, writing, "Yes the stage musical adaptation is happening. Very exciting."

In an Instagram post that has been deleted, Steven Antin's sister, choreographer Robin Antin, referenced the project, writing, "Working together 24/7 on this beautiful new venture, (to be announced soon) is exactly what our Mum always wanted for us! … And now here we are in her home, #LONDON , so sad she's not here to witness her dream, but we are doing it all for her, for YOU BRENDA!"

Academy Award winner Cher co-starred in the Burlesque film, which followed Ali (Aguilera), who escaped hardship in a small town to follow her dreams to L.A. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, she lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club's proprietor and headliner. Ali then becomes a star performer at the club.

The soundtrack included "Something's Got a Hold on Me," "Welcome to Burlesque," "Tough Lover," "But I Am a Good Girl," "Guy What Takes His Time," "Express," "You Haven't Seen the Last Of…," "Bound to You," "Show Me How You Burlesque," and "The Beautiful People."
