Pedi succeeds television icon Joyce DeWitt ("Three's Company"), who played her final performance Oct. 8. Laurie Birmingham, who originated the role in the show's out-of-town tryout last year, starred as Miss Abigail Oct. 15 and 22.

Ramona Singer, who stars in the Bravo reality series "The Real Housewives of New York," will make her New York stage debut with a cameo appearance at the 5 PM performance.

On Broadway Christine Pedi has been seen in Talk Radio and in the Martin Short revival of Little Me. She has performed in more than a dozen companies of Forbidden Broadway and earned Drama Desk and Ovation Award nominations for her work in Forbidden Hollywood. She was also seen Off-Broadway in A Broadway Diva Christmas and NEWSical the Musical.

Written by Ken Davenport and Sarah Saltzberg, Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage! is based on Abigail Grotke's popular book of the same name. "Miss Abigail is the most sought-after relationship expert to the stars — think Dr. Ruth meets Emily Post — and in Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, and Marriage!, she and her sexy sidekick Paco (played by Mauricio Perez) travel the globe teaching her outrageously funny 'how-tos' on dating, mating and marriage," according to press notes.

Davenport also directs. The production features scenic design by Hilary Noxon, costume design by Abbi Stern and lighting design by Graham Kindred.
