News Christine Pedi, Molly Pope, Allison Rogers, Gabrielle Ruiz, Lara Siebert, The Manhattan Dolls Set for Over It! Benefit OVER IT! A Benefit For Ovarian Cancer Awareness will be presented Sept. 24 at the Laurie Beechman Theater to benefit the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative.

The 9:30 PM fundraiser will feature the talents of Brian Bailey, Jennifer Bennett, Anne Brummel, Michael Hughes, Liana Hunt, Lisa Karlin, Eric Michael Krop, Annalyse McCoy, Cedric Neal, Christine Pedi, Molly Pope, Allison Rogers, Gabrielle Ruiz, Lara Siebert, Antoine L. Smith and The Manhattan Dolls (Sarah Drake, Annemarie Rosano, Christine Tucker). Jason Wetzel serves as music director. The Laurie Beechman Theater is named for Broadway actress Laurie Beechman, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer.

The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative was established to "provide a safety net for women in the entertainment industry who are coping with critical health concerns. The Women's Health Initiative dedicates a range of resources solely to addressing the health needs and concerns specific to women, including breast, cervical and ovarian cancers, plus domestic violence, chemical dependency and mental health issues, as well as providing services and financial assistance to women without health insurance.”
